It's not something you want to set loose, but rather something you are force to set loose. Astonishingly, less than two percent of those images have ever been seen. Contains a map of the Moon by Julius Franz.
If the United States was really going to put astro-boots on the ground, it would be nice to get a preliminary look at the surface. These structures are spread out and in different locations. The tape drives were donated to the Library of Congress several years ago. Get the book at your local library.

Building itself is likely to be demolished in the near future. The new image more closely approximates what the human eye would see.
George Solonevich made very odd looking drawings of the lunar surface and of manned lunar exploration. All the above photos of the moon came from this book here. But these were the only two such images that I could find like this.
